The name M-BIA is an abstract for ambience and was inspired by the historic cross vault, whose atmosphere is very comfortable.
In 2012, the club found this almost forgotten place from the Wilhelmine era, which only revealed when entering, but then impresses with its cathedral character.
The historic viaducts of the Berlin Stadtbahn were built in 1882 and characterize the over a length of 12 km
Downtown. At the time, innovations such as the light rail project laid the foundation for Berlin's claim as a to give a cosmopolitan metropolis. Today they form one of the largest contiguous architectural monuments in the city. and, with their distinctive red and yellow brick facade, offer an ideal place for club culture.
As night falls, the needs and preferences of the city change and in the cross vaults not far from the base of the television tower, the "M-BIA Club" takes over Berlin's nightlife. Here behind the brick walls of the location there is a SaveRoom for the queer and diverse lifestyle that the day world outside does not have to offer.
With all its facets, the magic of the night breaks the norm of everyday life that is pressed into rules. Masks fall into this alternative world and casual outfits meet the costumed bird of paradise.
Amidst the rustic, underground charm, the club continuously experiments with flourishing, decorative elements and combines them with visuals and alternating light projections. With the One-Akustik function installed, the location is already playing in the international premium league.
A lounge with casual couch zones forms the interface for getting to know each other.
Hatred, aggression and a lack of physical condition are expelled at the door with friendly authority. A friendly team looks forward to making the nights more colorful with you.
The M-Bia is an electro club that moves away from the mainstream. The public likes minimalist, industrial charm and feels at home here. The artists come from all over the world and from next door.
