About Panke Berlin
195.bln x 808s & drumbreaks
about: let us take you once again on a journey through sound. We're having our friends 8Moss & Benji Bizzle from Hotel Shanghai over at our homebase Panke, the day after we switch cities & play in Essen for the first time! It's gonna be 2 days, 2 cities, 1 Love!
We guarantee an unforgettable night full of goood music & vibes from a time when a few digit codes were everything we needed to communicate and flight mode didnt exist yet. When experimentation was the only way & the mainstream still felt raw ... 195 sets out to combine the ‘anything goes’ spirit from the pager days with a globalized music selection and sense for community.
Lai Raw, El Sheik & John Known invite you to see beyond genre boundaries while practicing tolerance and acceptance - finding yourself between Hip Hop, Neo Soul, UK Funky and Baile Riddims. Whatever happens, see you tonight !!
