Gerd Janson invites you to his Running Back party this Friday. Berlin-based Boys Noize is a global trendsetter at the intersection of analog industrial, techno, and kinky disco influences. His technical understanding and preference for raw, often distorted hardware signals lend his sets an unmistakable, metallic physicality. Alex Ridha – his real name – has the ability to create sonic harshness with an almost poppy feel for dynamics, making him one of the most skilled craftsmen on the current club and festival scene. Swiss DJ Deetron is considered one of the most technically precise DJs in the scene, with roots in Detroit techno. His productions, especially on labels like Music Man, are characterized by a warm, harmony-focused aesthetic, which he combines behind the decks with an impressive three-deck mixing technique. With Perel, the spectrum is expanded to include a German nuance somewhere between EBM and New Wave. Annegret Fiedler, born in Saxony and now based in Berlin, has established a soundscape on DFA and Running Back that blends her own vocals with cool synthesizer arpeggios and a touch of cosmic melancholy.
