Über Paris nach Köln und nun endlich in Berlin gelandet: Jennifer Cardini ist nicht nur seit einer halben Ewigkeit im Geschäft, die Produzentin gilt nicht zu Unrecht als „Grand Dame“ des französischen Techno. Als Resident der legendären Clubs wie Rex oder Le Pulp prägte sie nicht nur die dortige Szene, sondern hat sich als eine der technisch versiertesten weiblichen DJs behauptet. Mit ihrem Label Correspondant zeigt sie seit 2010 zusätzlich noch ihre Skills als A&R. Zur Feier der zweiten Correspondant Compilation spielen heute drei mehr oder minder neue Gesichter auf dem Boiler Floor. Der Italiener Massimiliano Pagliara ist nicht nur in Berlin gut vernetzt, gerne mal als DJ-Partner in Crime von nd_baumecker unterwegs und ein Analog-Synthie-Nerd – seine Produktionen wie Sets sind futuristische Trips, die die Grenze zwischen House und Techno gerne mal einreißen. Danny Benedettini hat sich bereits mit zwei EPs auf Item & Things hervorgetan, während seine Sets einen wahren Überraschungsreigen bereithalten sollen: von Disco über Tech-House und New Wave bis hin zu Minimal. Abgerundet wird der Spaß durch das Live-Set des Osloer Produzenten Andre Bratten, der neben einem Release bei Prins Thomas vor allem für sein 80er-Synthie-Pop-Update berüchtigt ist. Auf dem Bunker Floor findet das perfekte Komplementär- und Kontrastprogramm statt: Paula Temple ist nicht nur Stammgast, sondern hat im April bereits bewiesen, dass sie mit ihrer elaborierten Techno-Gewalt selbst den Vibe eines Juan Atkins aufrechterhalten kann. Unser Resident Moerbeck hat nicht nur Releases unter dem Namen „Teens On Fire“ in petto, der in Berlin geschulte Labelbetreiber, DJ und Produzent kennt die Gesetze des Floors mehr als genau. Gespannt warten wir auf das Debütset von Simo Lorenz. Als DJ und Promoter der „Wild Friends“-Partys im Stuttgarter Lehmann Club hat er sowohl einen Faible für lange Sets als auch für düsteren, gerne auch straighten, aber immer groovend-hypnotischen Techno-Sound. Unsere Allzweckwaffe Andrejko ist nicht nur auf der Suche nach neuen, stampfenden Tracks; seine Closings im STATTBAD sind schlichtweg eine Institution. Serious techno is serious techno!

As a resident of legendary clubs like Rex or Le Pulp, she shaped the local scene and asserted herself as one of the most technically gifted female DJs around the globe. With her label Correspondant she also gives proof of her classy A&R skills. To celebrate the second Correspondant compilation, three more or less new faces will play our Boiler floor tonight: The Italian Massimiliano Pagliara is well connected in Berlin, with his dj partner in crime, nd_baumecker, and being first and foremost an analogue synth nerd – his productions and sets are futuristic and romantic trips that like to tear down the borders between techno and house. Danny Benedettini has already distinguished himself with two EPs on Item & Things, and his sets hold a number of surprises: from disco to tech house and new wave to more minimal edges. Osloer producer Andre Bratten not only released on Prins Thomas’ imprint, but is notorious for his 80s synth-pop update – expect a retro-driven live set. Come in and find out!

Our Bunker floor will offer the perfect complementary and alternative program: Paula Temple is not just a regular in STATTBAD, the British DJ proved in April that she can even maintain the strong vibe alongside Juan Atkins through her elaborate techno violence. Our resident Moerbeck not only carries an entertaining release like “Teens On Fire”, with his long history, the Berlin-trained label owner, DJ and producer knows the laws of the floor pretty well. We are also excited about the debut of Simo Lorenz. As a DJ and promoter of his own “Wild Friends” parties in Lehmann Club in Stuttgart, he has a partiality for both, long sets as well as gloomy, straight and hypnotic techno. Our universal weapon Andrejko is not only hunting for new and pounding tracks; his closing sets in STATTBAD are simply institutional. Serious techno is serious techno!
