On September 29th, LGBTQIA+ sex workers will be celebrated on the occasion of the release of the radio play series DESIRE and its soundtrack.

Featuring live performances by: Aka Kelzz, Alice Danger, Antonio Herrera, Bendix, Breezy, Bunny B. Blaq, Caxxianne, Elio Coulibaly, Emilian, Kumi, Lexi Dark, Puck Ellington and Sanni Est.

Entry to this evening is based on free donations and all proceeds go entirely to sex worker organizations.

DESIRE is the continuation of the exhibition EXISTING AND LONGING (2022) - an intimate portrait of over 30 queer sex workers from 14 different countries working in different areas of the sex industry in major German cities. Both the audio drama series and the soundtrack invite outsiders to delve into the world of LGBTQIA+ sex workers, to hear voices that too often go unheard, and to challenge their own assumptions about sex work and queerness. DESIRE can be heard on 1live from September 25th and is available in the ARD media library. The soundtrack will be available on all streaming platforms from September 29th.
