On August 9th, all hip hop elements will be gathered at the Panke - La Zajawa combines German and Polish hip hop culture:

A whole day full of top-class dance battles, graffiti jams, beat battles with judges, and live presentations awaits you - culminating in a large open mic cypher featuring Berlin's best freestyle rappers and a subsequent afterparty.

La Zajawa is all about connecting elements and building bridges through the universal language of hip hop. This edition has a special aspect: We're celebrating 808 Day - a global holiday for music producers and beat lovers! A full day of cultural exchange, creative expression, and pure energy awaits you - from the street to the studio, from graffiti walls to drum machines.

+ 3:00 PM – Graffiti Jam

Experience real street art live when Berlin and Polish writers meet for a big session and redesign the outdoor area of the Panke.

3:30 PM - 8:00 PM BLOCK PARTY 

Relax and vibe with us under the open sky! Enjoy a scratch session with Hityawitthat for all turntable lovers, a live graffiti jam, a dance floor for spontaneous freestyle sessions, and delicious food. A perfect mix of beats, street art, and good energy.

6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Beat League – Beat Battle 

25 selected beatmakers will compete in the battle. Everyone will receive the same sample and have two hours to produce a track. With judges, prizes, and a big presentation of the beats in the evening.

11:00 PM Dance Battle:

An 8 to Smoke All Styles throwdown of beats submitted to the Beat Unit Online Beat Contest. Here, beats from the global beatmaking community meet top-notch dance skills.

00:00 - Open Mic Cypher

Show off your skills on the mic! Powered by the live beats of Sanes Medicine and the best cuts from DJ O. No script, no limits - just bars, flow, and pure energy. This is where real hip-hop comes to life.

01:30 - Afterparty - Berlin Style!

We'll end the night with an intense afterparty featuring some of Berlin's best DJs. Beats and breaks until the early morning.
