WednesdaysLive | Matti Klein Soul Trio ft. Lucasonic Horns
"These three musicians’ reminiscence of the soul jazz era directly reaches the hearts and minds of the enthused audience "(Mindener Tageblatt). A sound created by merely three musicians comes across as so much more than a trio. 'Groove-Master Klein' on keys delivers the perfect amount of bass personally. With his left hand he plays a unique self-constructed Rhodes Bass-Piano, producing a warm and vibrant sound with quite a punch. Klein has also had the pleasure of playing with extraordinary musicians such as Nils Landgren, David. T. Walker and Gunther Hampel as well as acting as Musical Director for the renowned Ed Motta. The soulful jazz mix that he delivers together with Lars Zander on saxophone and bass clarinet as well as the drummer André Seidel as the Matti Klein Soul Trio proves to be addictive with highly contagious grooves oozing out of every musical pore.
Line-Up:
+ Matti Klein - wurlitzer, rhodes bass
+ Lars Zander - bass clarinet, sax
+ André Seidel - drums
+ feat. Lukas Fröhlich & Philip Sindy - trumpets
