Despite its spooky name and proximity to Halloween, Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is actually a happy celebration. If you look around the internet, you'll find almost exclusively positive interpretations of this Mexican tradition, which ranges from healing to venerating the spirits of those who are no longer with us - all in an extremely colorful and lively way.
