20 Years Modular Expansion Berlin

Modular Expansion is one of the first teams which started organizing Techno events in Athens and this year celebrates 20 years anniversary in the electronic scene. In the end of the 90s began to host artists from the labels such as Tresor, Basic Channel and Chain Reaction, presenting the Berlin underground music vibe and making techno popular in the Greek capital. Founder of Modular Expansion known as George Apergis performs already in 2002 at the legendary Tresor in Berlin. Counting in his history more than 1000 events and hundreds of guest artists like Adam Beyer, Alexander Kowalski, Truncate, Ø [Phase], Psyk, dj Rolando, Monoloc, Drumcell, Brian Sanahaji, Radial, Substance, Vainqueur, Johannes Volk, Pacou, Funk D Void, Dave Tarrida, Sender Berlin and many more belongs in one of the oldest teams in the city of Athens. 
In 2012 come the label of Modular Expansion Records, with releases and the support of global fame artists which has been the baseline to follow up events abroad and especially in Berlin, with gigs in clubs like Suicide Circus, Berghain, Tresor, Sisyphos and many more. 

Modular Expansion is celebrating 20 years anniversary and will present on 28th of September in Suicide Circus a special event with two stages. In the main stage EMEX aka George Apergis, owner of the Modular Expansion, in an exclusive vinyl only dj set, will host Brian Sanhaji, with his analogue live set and famous for his appearances in CLR camp of Chris Liebing. On the stage will also accompany them the mysterious Berlin project Studio416 in a showcase performance and Alexander Lukat aka DJ Luke, member of Sender Berlin with releases in Tresor and Ovum recordings, who has been one of the first guests on Modular Expansion nights in Athens.

The outdoor stage will host this special night "Uni Beats" event series. Uni beats established and operates since 2015 in an underground location based in Cottbus, Germany. Their gold member & milestone, Mighty together with the "unbalanced" representative known as Enzo Pietropaolo will serve all night house sounds for a cozy & atmospheric music journey.
