Eine der wichtigsten Errungenschaft der Techno-Szene ist die kontinuierliche Weitergabe von Vertrauen an nachrückende Künstler. So stand man auch bei Mord seit je her verheißungsvollen Produzenten aufgeschlossen gegenüber. Im durch Charlton kuratierten Club Floor bekommt nun also mit A001 ein sich bedeckt haltender frischer Künstler zum Zug, der im vergangenen Jahr seine zweite dicke Platte abgeliefert hat. Was die rohen, perkussiven Elemente anbelangt geht Nyctophobia hier noch ein Stück weiter als sein Vorgänger. Rein von der stilistischen Ausrichtung ergänzen sich die zwei entsprechend. Bei Pineal Navigation demgegenüber liegt der Fokus auf der Take Your Self Back EP für Vision Collector in trippigen Melodien die ein Wechselspiel mit den hämmernden Drums eingehen. Perera Elsewhere bietet im Garten das Gegenstück zum düsteren Techno von Mord, zumindest wenn man ihr kürzlich veröffentlichtes Album All Of This heranzieht. Dabei sind die hypnotischen Schnittstellen durchaus gegeben. Entschleunigt und durchzogen von Dub und Trip-Hop entfaltet sich eine teils gespenstische Atmosphäre. Das sie auch klassisch club-induziert kann hat sie als Teil der Künsterformation Jahcoozi bereits auf Crosstown Rebels oder Ellen Aliens Bpitch Control unter Beweis gestellt. Qumasiquamé von der Through My Speakers Crew greift ähnlich breakige Elemente auf wie Perera Elsewhere und ergänzt diese um eine ordentliche Portion Grime.

One of the most important achievements of the techno-scene is the continuous transfer of trust to artists who are moving forward. And Mord is no different, always remaining open to promising producers. In the Club Floor curated by Charlton, A001, a fresh artist who delivered his second record last year, gets on board. As for the raw, percussive elements, Nyctophobia goes a bit further than his forerunner. Purely from the stylistic orientation, the two complement each other perfectly. With Pineal Navigation, on the other hand, the focus on the Take Your Self Back EP for Vision Collector is on trippy melodies, which interchange with the pounding drums. Perera Elsewhere in the garden offers contrast to the gloomy techno of Mord, at least when you look at her recently released album All Of This. These are certainly hypnotic gateways. Slower and swept by Dub and Trip-Hop, a partly ghostly atmosphere unfolds. She has also been able to produce classic club-orientated sound as part of Jahcoozi who have already proven themselves in this field on Crosstown Rebels and Ellen Aliens Bpitch Control. Qumasiquamé from the Through My Speakers Crew uses similar elements like Perera Elsewhere and complements this with a decent portion of Grime.
