DARK MATTER continues its tradition of exclusive evening events and presents SONIC SESSIONS, an extraordinary series of shows combining electronic music and kinetic light art. In the TRANSFORMATOR hall, live sets are synchronized in real time with the monumental SKALAR light installation.

COLIN BENDERS
Colin Benders is a high-wired artistic spirit, a mind drilled to compose as swiftly as he creates. Over the past seven years, Benders honed an instrument that can fully harness this unique gift for conducting an abundance of sonic elements: the modular synth. From polyphonic, harmony-based pieces to resounding techno sprawls, Benders lives to make music for the here and now.

BARKER LIVE
As a musician and DJ, Sam Barker has helped push the boundaries of dance music in Berlin, looking beyond the realm of 4/4 techno to explore left-field sound design and rhythmic complexity. His musical approach unselfconsciously combines bass music tropes, breakbeat, dub, and ambient elements while still maintaining a strong connection to the dancefloor.
