EINSTEIGEN is a series where DJ Zurückbleiben Bitte invites some of her favourite selectors to the Klunkerkranich Wohnzimmer.

This time, Vanaenae and Mojabo will be taking over the decks.

Vanaenae's great love is house music in all its variations, especially from the 90s. Now based in Berlin and a part of Good2U Festival, she was previously involved in several Leipzig projects, such as Music of Color and G-Edit. Through her cherished radio show and event series, Sunday Love Affair, she aims to foster a more sustainable club culture for BIPoC and FLINTA*. Vanaenae isn't interested in rigid genres; instead, she seeks to craft stories from anything danceable, narratable, and crackling under the needle.

Coming all the way from Frankfurt, Mojabo is a vinyl DJ who just can’t stick to one genre – no matter how hard he tries. His sets are a playful and uplifting blend of styles, rooted in disco, italo, African and Brazilian influences, always delivered with a modern twist. Mojabo has been digging vinyl for over seven years and for the last three, DJing in bars and small clubs around Frankfurt, Marburg and Mainz. Always vinyl, always in tune with the context.

Born in Melbourne but now firmly planted in Neukölln, DJ Zurückbleiben Bitte is a familiar face in Berlin and friend of the Klunkerkranich community. She'll open the evening with a perfect summery soundtrack for your Thursday afternoon, with a slowed down selection spanning from deep house to breakbeat.
