For the 1st time in 2022, the OG’s are working up magic with the Generator Hostel to provide a hot spot for Berliners, and visitors from all of the world.

OG Overground Music is a collective of DJs, artists and entrepreneurs, who created a safe space for individuals who like to work hard, and party harder. We are the bridge between the creatively extravagant artists, and the men & women of business with no time, who all have one thing in common

-> We all want to have fun, meet interesting people, and stomp together to the fat bass line.

At OG events you can expect suits, dresses, GOA pants, leather outfits and more, all together on one dance floor, forgetting their lives, their differences from the norm or what job they have to be at the next day. Together we share the music, the dance floor and the love to rave.

Most of our ravers are extremely bored of the same music played over and over in the local night life, so we take pride in being the only pure DJ-collective in Berlin who excel in multiple genres, offering cross-genre performances, transitions and live sets.

Besides the standard seen all over Berlin like…

we mix up the dance floor with jump stylers, shufflers and popping dancers using high-skilled, unique DJ-techniques including…

But how does a mix genre event work? Easy if the DJs manage the event and care more about the guests than their own ego.

Vote your genre when you arrive at the door, and we will take on the challenge*

The DJs will deliver a musical journey, based on the majority of votes. Please do not bother the DJs during their set, they will not play a Madonna remix just because you’re screaming the name.

*Normally DJs in Berlin play only genres that they can / they are specialised in, or they are booked disregarding the taste of attending guests showing up the very night. We are exited to hear what kind of music you would like to hear from us, bringing back the real skills of a DJ, differentiating their mix from a common Spotify Playlist.
